Parents,
We will make every possible effort to ensure your student reaches the proper dismissal area after school. Please be aware of the following:
- All changes in dismissal need to be in writing in the office by 1:10 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and by 12:10 on Wednesdays. We are unable to change dismissal methods in any other way, including phone call, or sibling request. This is a school-wide policy.
- The Independence Street gate should be used by students that walk home from school to the west side of the school. If you wish to remain in your car, please use the car pick up mode of dismissal. Students are not allowed to cross Independence Street unless they cross at the designated crosswalk at the corner of Muscatel and Independence.
- The car pick up line is where students will wait for you to drive up while you stay in your vehicle.
- If your student attends ASAP, he or she will be escorted to the ASAP classrooms in the back of the school. To arrange ASAP care, please contact Hesperia Parks and Recreation at Lime Street Park.
- If your student is a bus rider, he or she will be escorted to the front of the school to the proper bus route.
- If your student walks, and lives on the east side of the school, he or she should exit through the Muscatel Street gate, and will be escorted by a teacher to the end of the sidewalk near the crosswalk. Siblings are allowed to wait at the gate for siblings and family members prior to leaving.
- The basketball court should be used for parking and walking up to pick up your student(s).
